Q: What would you like to see your team accomplish in 2019?
We are opening offices in Germany and China. Global expansion is imperative as we’ve got 8 full-service locations and 24 satellite offices. As we want to service clients as quickly as possible. The marketplace is moving at rapid speeds. It’s imperative to handle worldwide inquiries.
Q: Who is your role model or hero?
My father is my role model. He’s the hardest working person I’ve ever met. Started with nothing, never asked for any favors or handouts from anyone and has become a very successful and respected surgeon. My pops has taught me to never give up regardless of the hardships you may be facing.

Q: Do you use any specific method or system to run daily operations?
I utilize tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Periscope and many other platforms / apps to help me market my services / solutions. It’s imperative to know what’s trending and what’s not. As big data and solutions like SEO were trending and are now phasing away. Augmented reality, virtual reality, IOT, o2o, blockchain, crypto are current HOT and in a few years, it will be a completely different movement.
Q: Why did you choose your present industry at this time?
I chose to be in the physical goods space as every company under the sun must CONSTANTLY evaluate and improve on your deliverables. Working with absolute geniuses like Dr. Andrew Dent, Gayatri Keskar, Ph.D. is a pleasure for me. Every day learning new things while challenging what is the norm lights me inside on fire. My job daily is to find companies who are trying to link up with over 5,500 manufacturers, material scientists, global researchers…over 1 million active customers are utilizing our platform. From top universities to Fortune 500 companies. Every day presents new opportunities and for that I am extremely grateful.
Q: What is the best/worst moment you can remember in your career?
The best and worst moment of my life was a few years back. I ran the sales and marketing for a company called Betterfly. Before I joined they weren’t profitable. They had a great concept but didn’t know which direction to turn. Flipped their company upside down to only allow paid members instead of only free memberships. Recruited and trained ten hungry salesman. Positioned them across USA. One year later I got a call that we were acquired. Which was a GREAT feeling. But sadly shortly after; I got the news that Groupon and TakeLessons were buying and burying the organization. It’s one of the proudest accomplishments I’ve been able to achieve thus far in my career. A story I will never be able to forget.
Q: Looking back – if you could advise a younger version of yourself to do something different – what would it be?
Never settle. Don’t chase jobs and take roles that aren’t the right personality fit for you. Be patient and find a company that is in growth mode that will value what you bring to the table.
