My name is Halli. I started a strategic digital agency 5 years ago. Today we are 65 people in four offices (NYC, LA, SF and Iceland). We work with some of the most amazing brands in the world to help them build closer relationships with their customers.

Q: What would you like to see your team accomplish in 2019?
Our main objective every year is to continue to get better at our work, to deliver better results for our clients.
Q: Who is your role model or hero?
Cockroaches. Hard working and impossible to kill.
Q: What is your favorite book?
Oh, the places you’ll go by Dr. Seuss.
Q: Do you use any specific method or system to run daily operations?
My main job is to find great people, make sure they know more or less where we are going and what is expected of them and then get out of the way.
Q: Why did you choose your present industry at this time?
I’ve been in this industry for over 20 years now. I lucked into it and it fits me perfectly.
Q: What is the best/worst moment you can remember in your career?
I’ve made a lot of mistakes. One of the biggest ones was hiring someone very close to me. When the working relationship eventually fell apart it caused the personal relationship to sink with it.
Q: Looking back – if you could advise a younger version of yourself to do something different – what would it be?
Always have a contract.
