Evan is a serial entrepreneur, Harvard MBA, personal development junkie. He is now the CEO of award-winning video marketing agency Movers+Shakers, who’s breaking engagement records with music & dance storytelling. He is also a Growth Advisor for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Q: What would you like to see your team accomplish in 2019?
This is our third year in business, and it’s our year to scale quickly. With a series of smashing successes under our belt, we’re working on getting the word out and do more & more significant projects.

Captain Picard.
Q: Do you use any specific method or system to run daily operations?
I have quarterly goals, weekly goals, and every day, set daily goals. Making my to-do list each day and reviewing it each evening keeps me on track.
Q: Why did you choose your present industry at this time?
This is a family business that combines my experience as a brand marketer with my husband’s experience as a music & dance storyteller!
Q: What is the best/worst moment you can remember in your career?
In 2011 I quit corporate life and started my first company, small business growth consulting. Going out on my own was exciting and super scary. My best moment was when I got my first check from my first client after I had gone out on my own. It was only $850, but it felt so amazing to have reached that milestone.
Q: Looking back – if you could advise a younger version of yourself to do something different – what would it be?
Be braver in making your way — feel free to leave the traditional, respected paths. Fulfillment comes from following your heart and letting your dreams unfold.
